As all Walkie Mountains products are handmade by myself to order, I have a processing time of up to 21 days to make your order. Delivery time, which is selected at checkout, is separate and additional to this. The only exception to this are orders containing exclusively Ready to Ship products. This includes products found on my Ready to Ship page, as well as products from other suppliers which I stock - including Treat Bags and Lick Mats. Orders that contain exclusively Ready to Ship products will be posted within 7 days. Processing times for all the products on my website can be found on each individual product page under the 'Delivery Information' tab.

For UK residents, all parcels are sent with Royal Mail Standard 2nd Class postage. You can, however, opt to upgrade to Royal Mail 1st Class, or Tracked Delivery. Please note that Royal Mail 1st and 2nd Class Postage does not come with tracking. If you would like live tracking of your item, please select Tracked Postage at checkout. For our international customers, all parcels are sent with International Tracked & Signed.

BioThane® is the brand name of all of the coated webbing products made by BioThane Coated Webbing Corp. It is a polyester webbing with a grippy TPU/PVC coating, making it durable, waterproof, mud-proof, rot-proof, easy to clean, while always remaining odour-free. It is a great vegan alternative to Leather. Bio Thane comes in a variety of colours and sizes and resists fading, cracking, and peeling. With basic maintenance, your BioThane dog gear will last for years. BioThane® is the highest quality waterproof webbing that is currently available on the market. In comparison to its competitors, it is of higher quality, more flexible and smooth to the touch, more durable and has a longer lifespan. It also has a higher breaking strength. I use three different widths of BioThane® as standard across my products, each with a thickness of 2.5mm. Their breaking strengths can be seen below: 12mm BioThane - 220kg 16mm BioThane - 280 kg 19mm BioThane - 340kg

As standard, my Longlines and Longline Holders are made from Waterproof Webbing as it is a more affordable option for the long lengths of these leads, while still having many of the same great qualities of BioThane - including being waterproof, easy to clean, bright and vibrant. If you would like a Longline made from BioThane® instead, please get in touch with me directly for a quote, including the length of Longline you would like and your preferred material width (13mm, 16mm, or 19mm). Please note, at present ONLY Longlines and Longline Holders are made from Waterproof Webbing, all of my other products are made from BioThane®. Each product is clearly listed with the material it is made from.

Our waterproof collars & leads are super easy to clean! Simply rinse them down with water and towel dry. For tougher muck, soak in a bowl of warm water with mild soap, cleaning gently with a sponge or towel. Afterwards, rinse thoroughly with water and towel dry. For the metal hardware on our products, some basic aftercare and maintenance will help to ensure that the hardware stays intact and functional for years to come. Salt water, mud and sand will wear down your hardware over time. When your collar/lead has been exposed to salt water, sand, mud, or any other type of muck, be sure to rinse your products well and always towel or air dry before storing them away. Over time, debris and dirt can be prone to collecting in the spring mechanism of lead clips and quick release buckles. This can result in a 'sticky' or 'stiff' clip/buckle that does not work smoothly. The best way to fix this is to first soak in warm, soapy water, followed by thoroughly rinsing the hardware to try and dislodge any dirt within the mechanism. Then, add a few drops of WD-40 inside the clip/buckle - opening and closing the hardware repeatedly until it is moving smoothly again. Regular cleaning and lubrication of the mechanisms on these hardwares will help to extend their longevity.
